How to Guide

Signature Seed Blend
Seeded paper
The seeds embedded within our plantable card Signature Blend are a mix of Swan River Daisy (Brachyscome iberidifolia), Chamomile (Chamomilla recutita), Alyssum (Lobularia maritima) and Ageratum (Ageratum houstonianum).

Each bloom offering a different colour and texture, whilst beautifully complimenting one another, making for a unique and colourful addition to any garden.
These cards will sprout in most conditions, but THRIVE when planted in Spring, just after the last frost. Whilst flowering (growing season), be sure to remove any dead flowers to encourage new growth, and flowers all season long.

Our Signature Seed Blend is an easy growing mix, that will easily adapt to most soil conditions. That said, if they could have their pick of pots, it would full of soil that is moist, organically rich, well-draining. Due to their fancy florals, regardless of where you plant them, they do enjoy a regular application of fertilizer. We suggest applying a slow release fertilizer, along with a dose of liquid food every few weeks to keep them productive.

The most important thing when planting your card is to water it daily! It's vital that the card doesn't dry out during germination (first 10-12 days after planting). If the card does dry out, germination will stop and unfortunately no amount of water will bring it back to life (trust me, we've tried!). Once those little sprouts are up and about, you can reduce the amount of water needed and care for them as you would any seedling.
Seed Life
Like all seeds, the mix within our paper do have an expiration date. If kept in cool, light conditions below 50 degrees your card will last for 1-2 years before planting.
